Re: The gaming thread!

Hmm yeah I guess gullible wasn’t the correct adjective to describe my point. Lazy works better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Games over the years have gotten a lot easier and micro transactions have been getting more and more common. Have you seen the backlash with EA and their lootboxes? Gam...

Re: The gaming thread!

The problem with these bloody loot boxes, coins, tokens etc, there is obviously lots of money to be made as the gullible public buy into these bloody things. I blame games like Candy Crush etc where you can buy your way out of a difficult game or pay for more lives. I can’t remember the revenue gen...

Re: Head unit

Ah right cool. Did the usb come with the unit and ran to your glove box? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It comes with USB extensions as the USB is at the rear of the unit. Those extensions were run into the glove box, a hole was made for the USB's to pass through and a beauty ring placed on top...

Regarding debt I don't have any which is a blessing, I have always been ok with saving but this is only with the bank, investing is all new to me.

I'm turning 30 soon, it almost feels like a midlife crisis I'm having regarding my future lol.

Re: Head unit

Cheers Sonic1506. That’s a real help. I thought I had to buy both harnesses so that saves me a bit of money as well. Is that a mechless one without CD player you’ve got in at the minute? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk No, just the one harness :). It's got CD/MP3/DVD/SD/USB/DAB/NAVAndroid Auto S...

Anyone running these? Are they simply unbolt the seat bolts, tip the seats to access the original subs and swap them out?
Yes, they should be plug and play.

I run Gladen 201BMW 3 Ways in mine with a JL Audio XD400/4 and Pioneer AVIC-F80DAB.

Re: Head unit upgrade

You'll be worse off with that unit, it'll be slow, clunky and a bit crap to use if I'm honest. In my opinion you're better off upgrading to a single din with bluetooth or if you want a screen then go for that option - budget allowing.

Do the retrofit that changes it for the fixed screen. CIC I believe it is.

It was back in June, with Admiral.
Ah, I see, as I said some insurers class optional extra's as modifications. If I was in your shoes, I would have gone to another insurer.

+1 for premium bonds. I had £5,300 in and won £5,000! Pretty good interest rate :D
I've probably won £100 or so in the years I've had them.
