The M3/M4 L&R end seals are longer than ours therefore the central seal is shorter than ours. I could trim our seal down to fit but would need to buy another eventually when car is being sold so thought to myself just get the proper part now.

Good to know, thanks for clarifying.

Anyone know if these will still fit the 140?

Pretty sure it won't fit 140/240 models due to the engine layout.

Great write up. Any chance you can take some pictures of the two upper extension rods and where they're bolted to the chassis. I can't tell from the pictures as they're dark.

Bump, anyone have done this mod, and can take a picture of the upper extension rods where they are bolted?

Zipp

Read thru this thread as I think it’s “stage 4” that might be useful to you.

Indeed, I have read that thread thoroughly but that was on an F32.. I was curious about this thread as it was F2x specific.

I got all the info i need, ordered the parts, but i guess not many people who have done this that can comment on the upper struts. Is it different on the F22, do we have a place to bolt them vs. the F3x. I doubt it but i figured i would ask here. Pictures are helpful. I've found a few M4 pictures and M235 Racing pictures with the same brace, but no closeups of the upper extension rods bolted to the a-pillar/chassis.

Thanks!

The upper rods are currently not bolted to the chassis on mine, it can be done but would require removal of the front wings (fenders) to gain access to the fixing point.

So you think there is a fixing point there already ? Have you seen it or taken pictures of that area to confirm it exists ? Some of the F30 forum guys think the M4 uses different brackets in the upper apillar area where these rods get fixed.
