Remap enquiry

Post by Ben GT » Mon Feb 10, 2014 4:29 pm

Howdy :)

Can I have a price for the remap of my 125i please?

I would like it done on your premises with before and after dynos. The intention is to get the dyno up here and shared at 1addicts to help with their remote-tune queries. The lack of actual evidence is putting people off I think! (Not just from you, there is just very little about 125i remaps anywhere!)

I might go with the i-Torque remote flash tool from P-Torque - do it myself then go to a local Dyno to test outcome. But it's 500 smackers which is currently putting me off - just got back from skiing which has somewhat depleted my wallet funds :D I'm waiting a couple of other quotes...

Yeah, Id just rather them do it in house and make sure they are 100% happy with the individual map on mine rather than a generic. Also, it will only help them out having more evidence of the gains :)

Sorry for the delay Ben, thanks for the PM.

We have actually prooved this, not only with dyno graphs, but we have a few members on here running the software.

Not sure why everyone is still worried or questions the end result, our reputation aside.. 270hp is achieved with our software, can't keep saying it :bawl:

If we can get 3 members with 125i's I will offer a 10% discount.

This will make the i-Torque tool with our software just £445.50 all in.

Its worth remembering that the tool also doubles up to read/clear fault codes.

We will need a deposit of £45.50 from each member, payable via Paypal to info@p-torque.co.uk

Let me know if this is of interest.

Just to extend on this, it's not that I doubt what you say at all!

It's just all other cars I've had and been a forum member of there have been hundreds of people with remaps and dynos with comparisons etc. Here, AFAIK, there are two 125s running maps, one from you guys and one from evolve and as such only 2 dynos (and I don't think there is a dyno from either forum member of their specific cars). Even in the USA there are only 2 people with dynos after a map (on the forums at least) and neither of them were of yours. All I'm trying to do is make sure I get the best bang for my buck and the only way to do this is to gather evidence and feedback. I have got feedback from both forum members regarding their maps (both of whom are exceedingly pleased) so all I can do now is compare figures and curves but there is just a lack of print outs to do this with! My car is my baby so I'm just paranoid and want to get it right first time!
