Time for a new car...

Not sure I just need a car for January. Initially got taken in by 0% offers for 420i but they went. Considering :- X1 Tiguan Golf GTi Looked at the M240 too but the insurance is a biatch as I’m coming out of a company car scheme, but had a non fault accident last year. Golf GTi sounds like the most...

Coffee Machines

I use the De Longhi Magnifica bean to cup, bought it in a sale for £300 in the summer. Very simple, not many fancy functions. It is now also a smaller machine after the face lift. (Unlike cars that tend to get bigger) Coffee comes out much hotter than from the old De Longhi, I had for 8 years ...

Probably better to drive 600 miles, sleep, drive 600 miles back.
Definitely, take her and your other half on a nice one night break trip to France, Germany or Switzerland, "killing" several birds with one stone, so to speak.
Having a nice time + long drive + run-in engine. :)

Northern Romp - Sunday 10th September 2017

But what I didn't realise, and what is far worse than any of that is the people on the special meet bumping and posting this thread and reckoning they couldn't make it etc etc when in fact they knew they were all doing their own little secret meeting a few weeks after that would jeopardise this one...

Shame the "special" thread was deleted, was looking forward to some bants today. ;)
It really was a rather inappropriate thread, given the circumstances, so best it got locked, then deleted.
Very poor judgment on that OP's part. :(

If that is the case then - fair cop. I'm sure he'll be along to confirm either way.
Hope so!
I read Red5's post as words of sympathy with BJT as we are rather disappointed by the "other" special thread which now reveals the reasons.

Northern Romp - Sunday 10th September 2017

Not sure if I detect a note of sourness here Red? If so, I think it's a bit harsh and uncalled for. BJT wanted to organise a Romp because a) I imagine he fancied one and b) there didn't appear to be anyone taking up the challenge (publically) to organise. So good on him for doing just that. I know ...

Very smart, Sooty! :) Thumbs up from me too.

Best thing about buying pre-registered, or an AUC in my case, is that one just goes and drives it away once purchased.
No waiting and deciding on whether to spec this or that. In the end it is a car to be driven, not an entertainment box! :)

Semerka's new steed is gone

Caught on the autobahn? What for, driving too slow? I would not recommend it. I drove at the indicated speed limit number (where it's not unrestricted speeds), but in miles, not kilometers (not by mistake). I was caught up and escorted by the police to the nearest village with a cash machine...

Lovely noise - quite envious of you actually, as the car itself looks gorgeous. Hope you have many miles of happy motoring and please DO remember not to get caught on those autobahns next time
Thank you, Paul!
