Re: What Mobile Network is everyone with?

I was on o2 for about 10 years, then moved over to 3 for a year and found their reception and data to be horrendous. I've since moved back to o2 and have been with them for about 3 years and have found them much better than 3. Also worth a mention, when I was on 3 I got no reception in my house and ...

Re: Help... What oil to put in my 120D 12 plate

What I usually do is check the Castrol site, put your reg number in and it will tell you what oil you need.

Don't have to buy Castrol, but at least you know what type of oil you need.

Quick and easy.

I know I saw him on the weekend to get my wheels swapped over, so I'm assuming he'll take calls/emails over the weekend.

Re: Bespoke steering wheel

Another vote for Jack at Royal Steering Wheels. I had my current wheel retrimmed by him. He sources another wheel retrims it and either sends it to you or you can go to him and he'll swap it over for you, and he'll take your old wheel in exchange to replenish his stock. Think I paid about £150 for w...

Re: How did that happen?

Yeah it restarts when you press the clutch down, but it will also restart if it's been left for while. If you've ever been stuck in traffic jam, which hasn't moved for a while, you'll notice your car restarts itself so the battery doesn't go low or flat, with the radio, lights etc on. Edit: stop sta...

I presume this can only happen in an auto?
It can happen in both auto and manual.

Start stop kicks in when you put it in neutral and take your foot off the clutch, which is what you do when you park up, so the same thing is possible?

Re: How did that happen?

Start stop kicked in and you forgot to the turn the car off, which is the most likely reason.

Quite a few people have done that.

Re: E81 unforced entry

Could of unlocked it by mistake? Button could have been pressed in your pocket or something?

Because something similar happened to me and the sods nicked all the change out of my ashtray. Only a couple of quid so I wasn't that annoyed but this was a few years ago when I had a 1er

Re: Tyre Selection.....What would you choose?

Give Wembley Tyres a call.. They're in NW London, I always go there because their prices are better than online, and I'm local.

I'm not sure if they deliver, speak to Marcus (the owner) he should be able to help you out.
