Re: M2 owners opinions please

@ Rich196 - if you are looking for a pure driver's car, for the Sunday drive out then Exige without a doubt. It feels, corners, steers, rides, stops and accelerates like no other car I've owned or driven. The exhaust note from the V6 is glorious with a 2bular exhaust but quiet with valves closed. S...

Id love to hear you thoughts of an M2 vs a Exige. These are probably the next two on my list.

Re: Nurburgring finally

Sounds like solid advice. I'm getting consistent times now on assetto corsa which shows I at least know which direction the track goes in (I'm not under any illusions that I'll be smashing 8min laps) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Get as many laps in as you can. It cannot do any harm unless you...

Re: Dyno results

This is an odd one!! One this I can say for sure it I wouldn't trust a dyno graph that looks like that! Your numbers are very odd too. The HP isn't believe able to me, but the torque could be... My car used to dyno 400+hp and 500+ lbft on dynos. Usually around 420hp and 530lbft. It was an N54. Wagne...

Re: Track day cost

Bracke pads will die. My mates had his for 2k miles now. Done a track day at cadwell brakes were shocking. Did 50% of the pads, then we did the ring and spa he put EBC yellows in, and killed those down to the backing plates and a set of tyres. Cars done a total 5k miles now. Yeah, but that is down ...

Re: M135i V's Cayman GT4 Track Battle

Great bit of car control there. Cayman was at about 4/10th though. I'm surprised he didn't let you past if he didn't know you. You were pretty close in places.

Re: Git-r's road/track progress M135i

Also your line through druids in interesting. I would take the wider line on the way in and turn in much later, bit like you mate does in the E46 m3. the line you describe I think is the track day line. Would you be gettting your braking done before turning? I'm with Rich - found staying out wider ...

Re: Crashed into barrier

There's no doubt that if you think you can drive like Chris Harris something like this is inevitable. I have more appreciation for the skill required to drive a powerful RWD car now and once I get this all sorted that will be reflected in my driving. The independent route while potentially working ...

Re: Crashed into barrier

My personal opinion is that is a "worst case" quote. Or they dont want the work. The cheapest way will to be to find a friendlily garage that will repair only what is bent and not bits for the sake of it, or "you need a matching pair sir. Failing that fix it yourself if you handy with the spanners. ...
