Re: Just brought a 118d

Congrats! I have a 61 plate 118d M sport. I find it to be a cracking little engine. Enough poke for a daily and decent mpg. Not sure, but I think most of the timing chain issues were for early cars. Someone will be a long to confirm that shortly. :)

What they should have done is put their shirts on backwards! Now that would've confused the Croatians.

Re: Bmw 4 series (AUC) - which of these would you buy?

Now into my 3rd day of negotiations on the better specced vehicle. Would have bought it yesterday at agreed price but salesman went off to speak to his manager as they want to add £350 delivery/px collection charge. I pointed out that this was already stated in the agreed price. Really not sure why ...

Thanks. Might give Tony a nudge. Looking to pay cash outright so he might not be able to help. Can't hurt to ask. :)

Bmw 4 series (AUC) - which of these would you buy?

So - been looking for a well specced 4 series for a while. Found two I like. Both good spec. One has del milage the other has 3500ish but is better specced. Prices are similar. Can't decide so was hoping for opinions. https://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/vehicle/201806127422648 https://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/vehi...

Sat in one at the Dealers just over a week ago and really liked it. Only thing I didn't like was the C pillar Roundell. Would buy one if and when they do petrol X drive.

Re: Considering an X2

Spoke to a mate yesterday who works as a BMW tech. He said they go really well and handle like a dream. My issue is no x-drive with the petrol motor at the moment! Why?

Re: Are these perished

Mine were like that (RFTS) 5 yrs old 18k. Got an advisory - but still passed MOT. Changed them straight away, just to be safe.
