Spoke to a mate yesterday who works as a BMW tech. He said they go really well and handle like a dream. My issue is no x-drive with the petrol motor at the moment! Why?

Got mine done yesterday and received paperwork. Then recieved an e-mail from the same dealer stating that my vehicle may need to come in for some recall work! Muppets.

Mine were like that (RFTS) 5 yrs old 18k. Got an advisory - but still passed MOT. Changed them straight away, just to be safe.

Is this something we can do a visual inspection of ourselves to see the condition of the part? If so where do I look. Lol

Edit: Just called BMW (my local) and car is confrimed as being effected. Now booked in. 61 plate E81.

Was discussing this issue with the Mrs. and she questioned wether it would effect insurance as a modification. If you were injured in an accident, could they make an issue of it? Any thoughts?

I bought a rear wiper off them of all things. Wrong size turned up. Absolutley no reponse from contact attempts. Got money back, as I payed with PayPal. My first and last purchase from them.

I've tried to buy 2 cars from two different dealers in the last few months on Approved Used BMW. Dealers wouldn't budge a penny (cash purchase). I asked for five hundred off a 27k car and they said no so I walked. Odly a few weeks later they dropped the price by........500! Both dealers still haven'...

I suggest everyone staying there the night before pickup, wear a pink carnation in their buttonhole and carry a paper under their right arm. Just for easy identification. :lol:
