Re: E87 LCI High versions on pre-facelift with xenons

Here you go mate - http://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=78076 You just need to code the number plate lights to act as DRL’s which can easily ...

Re: E82 120D Broken Down

You were right Masai, it was the high pressure fuel pump that's failed catastrophically, the entire fuel system is contaminated with metal swarf. The car's a write off :( Oh bloody hell that’s terrible news, sorry to hear that. I hope you purchase another as you’ve sadly had terrible bad luck. Sent...

Re: Winter Tyre Problems

Evening all, Sorry for another annoying winter tyre thread. I've just ordered 4 x 225/40/18 Goodyear Ultragrips to go on my stock M140i wheels. Local garage they were sent to through black circles say the rear tyres were too narrow for the alloy and have refused to fit them citing safety reasons an...

GAMING : Need a good FPS Campaign to play

Wolfenstein II & Call of Duty WWII Not played Wolfenstein II but I found WWII very linear compared to even World at War which is 9 years old this year. To cramped and crowded. It was good and decent graphics especially the cut scenes and had a couple of decent/different levels but all in all too sh...

Re: GAMING : Need a good FPS Campaign to play

First choice - Last of Us - hands down best game I’ve ever played.

Second choice - Uncharted 4

Third choice - the last 2 tomb raiders were pretty good too

Help: E82 Dark / Black Lines Install Problem

You unfortunately need to wire a feed from your number plate to illuminate the LED part of the light.and then make your number plate a DRL (done via coding) This is a thread from last year, exactly same predicament except this guy asked questions first lol http://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?...

Re: Angel eye help please?

I currently have a set of depo V2 with the HID kit fitted to my E82 and they are definitely one of my favourite visual mods. But they aren’t cheap (£350-400) Tweeny, are you able to link to the HiD kit you used? Struggling to decide which is the right one to get Umm I’m afraid not mate as I bought ...

Re: 1st drive in the snow

I have the TS830P on my 17" steel wheels. 225/45 all round. They're a few years old now, but still plenty of tread. Oddly the tread pattern is identical to the TS850P, so will probably give very similar performance. Above maybe 3-5 degrees they are little bit wobbly at speed. You can feel the tread...

Haha, the double slat plain black do look nice, you are right about the colours.

Maybe I'd add the stickers or the plastic covers they do if I get bored and fancy a change.
Nah. Once you go plain black you’ll never go back.

1st drive in the snow

Anyone using the Conti TS850P? I've been tempted to get some for the past couple of months but havent pulled my finger out but with this weather its changed my view! (near Blackburn but although we had snow over the weekend the roads seem ok but icey). I have the TS830P on my 17" steel wheels. 225/...

bit naive , bit stupid

If someone doesn't want to buy a new set of alloys, what is the best winter tyre to pick? (ie, 18") Don’t bite me here please Glen, but why would you pay an extra £40 twice a year to have your summer tyres swapped for winter tyres onto your preferred alloys (I assume you want to keep the look of th...

Re: bit naive , bit stupid

Octavius has had Michelin cross climates fitted to his work van and he was most impressed with them. So much so that he has fitted a second set. Got decent mileage out of them too I believe. I’ll give him a nudge and you can hear his thoughts. For a 220d x drive they sound spot on [emoji1360] Sent f...
