er .... isnt a 120i an N46 ?
Came in the 120i as well, when it came to the LCIs (N43B20). They were N46 in Pre-LCI (N46B20) IIRC.

Also came in the E9x (316i, 318i, 320i) and the E60 (520i) IIRC.

Re: BMW recall

No, I asked and they wouldn't give me any - they just said that a record of the work was on their system. A bit annoying - it's not as though I have the technical knowledge to verify that the work was even done properly! I had this too. My dealer made me sign some paperwork when I dropped my car of...

Re: Depo Bi-Xenon Mod - No Longer Making

I have until recently been extremely happy with Toby's lights. I've spoken to EM Tuning and I'm confident that he'll be able to get my lights back into shape. He's gonna send me some photos of what he can do including some photos of your lights Sonic. I'm not after anything too fancy, I just want b...

Re: Fuel efficiency 120i

Thanks for that polite post..! I have no reason to B/S, I am here trying to be helpful to OP. I did caveat my post saying, not sure if this is correct. I won't be reseting the trip because monitoring oil consumption since having valve stem seals replaced (incidentally, runs so well right now, since...

I bought the car used and it had that ability when I got it - it was mentioned in the manual if I recall correctly so I don't *think* it was an aftermarket addition, though I could be wrong.
I haven't known total opening to include the roof, unless it was coded, but I could be wrong.

Re: Go Karting Forum

Don't know where abouts you're based, but the Daytona Karting tracks (Esher, Tamworth, Manchester and Milton Keynes) do something called the 'InKart Championship' Last sunday of each month, you get 3 heat races, and 1 final. Racing is close, fair and you meet a lot of like minded people along the w...

Re: E88 remote window/roof opening disabled since recall?

I took my 2008 E88 in for the recall fix at the start of the week, and after getting it back I noticed that the ability to use the remote key to open all the windows and convertible roof had vanished. I arranged to take it back into the dealer to be sorted out, but someone just left me a voicemail ...

Re: Fuel efficiency 120i

I have a 120i I just did 50 miles on the m25 and thought I'd make a note to respond to your question. This is based on the onboard computer so is not a 'real' consumption, so assuming the computer is correct(!) Average about 37-39mpg, rising to about 50mpg in parts, and when I put my foot down, the...

Re: BMW recall

I wish I could but its my nearest dealer. And the next 3 dealers near me are also Cooper outlets. I did try one of those once and found them just as poor. Hope you get it sorted. Just got back from getting mine done, yes got an invoice too, was there 4 hours. Barons Watford didn't give me any paper...

Re: BMW recall

It's Cooper Croydon. Been told this morning that car went back into workshop at 9am and "SHOULD" be ready for collection at 1pm. That means a job originally booked for 1.5hrs will have taken 7-8 hours work. Either they giving me a load of B/S or they encountered some problem or made a cock-up doing...
