130i LE Servicing - DIY or Indy?

The old girl is due a service and I'm contemplating whether or not to do it myself. It's not a case of competency in carrying out a service, but whether or not there's still 'value' in paying to have my booked stamped. I would normally use my Indy, Darren Wood. For reference, it's a 130i LE with jus...

Thanks! Yes, they are indeed 17" 141 and fit without issue. There isn't much room left around the standard caliper so I imagine 6 pots and even 4 pots may be problematic.

As a few have said, second hand is the way to go. I've just picked these up from a forum member for less than £300.

Not a mark on them and with nearly-new Goodyear Ultragrips.

They look great!

Silver BMW text would be suitably subtle. Or alternatively full Brembo logo on the fronts, and just the Brembo icon on the rears?

Re: Low Mileage 130i LE

The one you should have had was the private sale on ebay at York with 55k on the clock at the end of October .... its already been mentioned and at the time I commented on it in the Hunters thread - that immaculate triple garage + immaculate driveway says it all https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-130i-...

Re: Low Mileage 130i LE

Jack, as a 130i LE owner myself I do see the 'added value' in the LE. I previously had an FL e87 and (after later finding out about them) wished I had got an LE instead. So, if you're set on an LE don't compromise. Chances are you'll regret it if you do. However, personally, I would compromise on mi...

Re: Rattle from HVAC panel

Hmmm, it could be I suppose.

Rattle from HVAC panel

So during this morning's commute, my HVAC panel decided to make what I can only describe as a 'death rattle'.

It's worth noting that it was -2 and the symptoms did seem to improve slightly as the car came up to temp.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yep. Make sure you get the right bases (gloss/matt) as those aren't easily swapped.
Cool. Ta mate.
