Many thanks to David from GAP Insurance for prompt response and superb price. Took me 10 min to get quote and insure a car, and beat over double Main Dealer quotation. Highly recommended!!!

Thank you

Re: M140i tyre / alloy insurance?

You’ve asked me this before in a different thread! 😀 Yes, it’s definitely replacement, I confirmed before taking the policy (and have that in an email from the BMW finance manager, where I queried this specifically). As I hit "Submit" it did briefly cross my mind that I recognised "R1cey"... ...

Re: M140i tyre / alloy insurance?

My local main dealer initially quoted me roughly £990 for 4 years gap (replacement), 4 years alloy and 4 years tyre insurance. Online was able to get all three for £670, but could also get a further 10% discount online, so £603 all in. Highlighted that to my local dealer, and they price matched it,...

Re: Suggested claim limit for an M2?

What would you advise? Hi. There are various factors which affect what would be deemed to be an appropriate claim limit, not least the policy type (Invoice, Replacement or Contract Hire GAP) and the duration of cover you're seeking. Some questions (either get back to me here on this thread or, via ...

Re: Another new customer

Another one for the list. Collecting my M140i on Friday and now fully covered :) I'd planned to use you for gap cover based on forum reading, but didn't realise until I was putting it through that you do 4-year policies - a pleasant surprise, and peace of mind for the full PCP duration. Hopefully t...

Re: New policy

Just took out a new policy on your website which was extremely straight forward. Paid £137 for 3 years for replacement gap on my new to me 66 Plate M140i. Much better than the £300 BMW promised. Thank you, it was really easy to set up (hope I did everything well). I wouldn't have found you if it we...

Re: Excess Cover?

OK. So is that a £250 excess cover for the duration of the policy? Yes, but only in relation to a Total Loss claim. E.g. if you purchased a 4-year GAP insurance policy and then within that 4-years your vehicle was deemed a Total Loss (written off) through accident, fire, theft or flood... if, as pa...

Re: Excess Cover?

Hi, Looking to purchase my Gap Insurance from you guys. I was originally looking at ALA which offer an Excess Cover option. As my insurance excess including the compulsory excess is £750 this was appealing to me. I don't seem to see that option on your website though. Is it not something you offer?...
