Re: BMW E81 Wheel Spacer Advice

If Eibach springs would make mine sit like yours, I'm definitely getting some. Perfect height. Sincere apologies to the OP for the thread hijack. Yeah sorry OP! Although I suppose it's all spacer/suspension related at least for anyone reading the thread. I can confirm mine definitely has stock Mspo...

Re: BMW E81 Wheel Spacer Advice

Sorry, I was talking to andrewuk. I should have quoted him. Yeah they are definitely the stock M sport springs. It just fills the arches better now because of the spacers so looks lower. The front tyre being a 225x40 fills the arch gap better as well. It looked the same as any other E82 Msport befo...

Re: BMW E81 Wheel Spacer Advice

I'm on stock M Sport suspension and sits higher than that. Sure the ride height is stock? Standard suspension with spacers mate! Sorry, I was talking to andrewuk. I should have quoted him. Re: BMW E81 Wheel Spacer Advice

Mine is an E82 on M Sport stock suspension but I got away just fine with the following and no rubbing even on big compressions fwiw: OEM 18" M261 wheels Front 15mm bimmec hubcentric spacer & 215x40x18 Tyres. 1 deg negative camber Rear 12mm bimmec hubcentric spacer & 245x35x18 Tyres 1.5 deg negative...

Re: E82 120D Remap (Yorkshire)

I too would vouch for RS Tuning in Leeds. I was recommended by Jason as I live in Leeds. My 123d was remapped here, it made just shy of 300BHP and 440ftlb in the end, although had a few teething troubles at first which were entirely the fault of a previous map done elsewhere. Comparably, I had a map...

Re: BMW 123d post 2009 OBD Flashing

OK cheers Jason, I take it that it's not something you can essentially "unlock" once, then use via regular OBD tools afterwards; but rather you need the tools every time you use it?

BMW 123d post 2009 OBD Flashing

Hey all, does anybody know if there is a way to flash/Remap via the OBDII port on a post 2009 bmw 123d?

Thanks,

Andy.

123d EGR Problem?

Hi all, I have had my EGR valve blanked at both the exhaust manifold end and inlet manifold. I have had the ecu mapped to set the EGR aperture to 0% ie shut all the time but if the EGR valve is plugged in the car just goes into half power mode almost straight away after start up. If I unplug the EGR...

Re: Looks like a familiar intercooler

For anyone interested in these, I can now confirm that I have fitted and road tested for 5k miles. The intercooler was difficult to get in without removing the bumper and I did end up filing away a small amount of the internal plastic bumper area to get it to fit snugly (this was due to slightly ra...

Re: 123d Intercooler & Fuel Pump Upgrade!!!

Mine was december 2009 aswel. My intake temps were low considering 2.9bar.. when stan was mapping mine for the last time he tried 3.2 bar but it made a lot less power than at 2.9bar settled at 338 bhp and 485ftlbs. I got 298 bhp on stock fuel pump at 2.4 bar boost just modified slightly to stop it ...

Re: 123d Intercooler & Fuel Pump Upgrade!!!

My limit in the stock turbos was 2.9bar anymore and it lost power. Have you upgtaded your intercooler yet? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Yeah it's a copy of the Wagner one. No doubt not quite as good but I asked Paul the mapper and he said intake temps were reasonable, not particularly low b...

Re: 123d Intercooler & Fuel Pump Upgrade!!!

My car went to RS Tuning in Leeds on Wednesday and achieved a genuine 290bhp & 435ftlb! This was on stock turbos and V-power diesel which I believe may reduce power slightly due to addition of cleaning additives etc. The turbos seemed to hit maximum air flow at a pressure of 2.4 bar, beyond which th...

Re: What exhaust to buy? E82 123D

As has been said already, another option is to keep existing exhaust and get the silencers removed. It's already all 2.5"-2.75" stainless so there isn't really much difference. Even the existing silencers are straight through. It's always the dpf that silences a diesel. If you hear a tuned 123d with...

Re: 123d Intercooler & Fuel Pump Upgrade!!!

Cheers Gaz. Appreciate the advice.

I ran a quick check this morning with Torque Pro graphing fuel rail pressure at WOT through 3rd and 4th gear. It seemed to build to 2k bar quickly and held it there perfectly stable so should be good to go fingers crossed.
