I didn't know there were 3 levels of Sat Nav. Std, Business, Pro ? perhaps that's why the voice doesn't work. only Business and Pro. cant find it on Google.

Re: Fitting Heated Seats

Put a carpet or cardboard sheet over the sill the seats are quite heavy and its easy to scratch the sills with the seat runners . They are fixed with Torque bolts.

not if you do everything without the key in or pressing the power button. To be 100% sure you can take the earth terminal off the battery.

Re: Fitting Heated Seats

Take a picture of the yellow plug in your car showing the connector pins, I suspect you will need to run at least a power supply for the seat heating as BMW don't seem to run anything that is not on the spec sheet for the seats, there will need to be a wire going to connectors 8 ( Lin Bus heat contr...

Re: Differential Oil 114D

I had mine from Opie oils, fully synthetic they will tell you the grade and capacity. You have to suck out the old as there is no drain plug. I did my gearbox at the same time.

Now you can run a 20 amp cable from rear fuse box and earth towards front seats then splice a second pair of earth and power wires into the first cable. So now you have a pair of power and earth cables one for each seat. feed th...

Mine only gets Castrol Edge Titanium FST Ow30 LL04. If your car is a long term keeper, I'd have it changed every 9k approx to help look after your turbo bearings.

My lawnmower sometimes gets Magnatec, if I can't find anything better.
Same for my 125d.
