Re: Weird resale question, "poverty spec" M135i LCI

Without trying to sound too obvious keeping it looking good with a low as possible mileage will always help. When I bought my z4m I had a choice of 2 cars, I opted for the more expensive one that had less kit on it simply because the mileage was lower and it was in better overall condition. Motoris...

Re: Coffee Machines

We had a Tassimo machine for a few years, but the cost of the pods and the general slightly metallic taste made us fed up after a while. We started looking out for proper bean to cup machines going on offer. Amazon tend to have the Delonghi Magnifica on offer for around £200 which gets great write u...

Re: Beware the price crash...

There are a huge amount of cars now being driven around on PCP, where the car is being financed as cheaply as possible on a monthly basis. With no likelihood of it ever being purchased or gaining any significant equity. It is effectively renting. But it allows the 'owner' to drive a far more presti...

Re: Second set of alloys for winter tyres

I certainly understand the case for steel wheels for the winter but having only recently collected my car, I'm loathe to switch off the ferric grey alloys which I think look great with the car (Estoril blue). Are you not a fan of the 436m's then Tricky401? Like you Shadak, I'm thinking it is easier...

Re: Your next car?

I've just taken delivery (Monday night) of my new E-Class - got a great lease deal on an E220d SE - switched to this after the A6 I ordered showed no signs of arriving any time soon. Big change from the M135 but loving it so far, so relaxing to drive with the auto and great suspension etc Not a 'dri...

Re: Second set of alloys for winter tyres

I've got a set of 17" steels for sale in the FS section w/Pirelli Sottozeros looking for £350 if any use
Benefits of the steels are no worries about damaging them at all etc

Re: Standard HiFi v HK, my experince.

Having had a number of standard sound system 1 series courtesy cars I wouldn't call it "little" in extra sound quality tbh.
The standard system is one of the worst I think I've heard in a car particularly given the 1 series positioning as a more premium hatch.

Re: Looking at a Golf GTE

What kind of driving will you be doing? Is it town or mostly motorway?
I'd probably go for the 320d if motorway driving
The GTE is interesting but from what I read it's a bit compromised as a result of it's added electric bits

Re: dreadful exhaust flap rattle .

So I have just had my Car back From BMW eastern In Edinburgh to have the exhaust looked at as well as 2 other warranty issues. They only managed to fix 1 of the 3 issues and the other 2 are still on going. However when they came back to me about my exhaust rattle, after sending them 3 different vid...

Re: Best place to sell an M240i

All you can really do is try the various websites for quotes mate, selling privately seems to be very dependent on spec more so than condition/age/mileage as buyers want the toys I've been trying to sell my M135 for a month now and no joy, even though it's one of the cheapest on AT for it's age, mil...
