Re: Car Washing/Detailing for Newbie.

Agree with the above, do your research and join detailing world. -Adopt the 2 bucket method. -You can't go far wrong Autoglym and Meguires products and they're widely available from Halfords etc. -Always use clean wash mitts, microfibres cloths and drying towels. If they're dirty or you drop them do...

Re: Who is into Mountain Biking

I used to do a lot mountain biking in Bristol and South Wales (Afan forest), riding a stumpjumper mostly.

Have to say I'm getting tempted by the Specialized electric mountain bikes - more fun, less pain!?

Re: Performance exhaust - M235i

Hi mate, How much are you after for the exhaust? JDK I paid £350, so I'm looking to get that back. Where abouts are you located and what tips does it have mate? JDK I'm in Bristol. The exhaust is in very good condition and the last owner said he only did about 1000 miles on it. It has chrome tips w...

Re: Performance exhaust - M235i

Well in answer to my own question I didn't need anything additional as you can use the original hangers and the backbox can be welded on. Only problem is I didn't do my homework properly and ended up buying a performance exhaust from a M135i which doesn't fit the M235i as the coupe has longer exit ...

Re: NEW M PERFORMANCE EXHAUST PRICES

Hi

Can you give me a price on a M235i performance exhaust without the tips (I've already got them).

Delivered and fitted prices would be good for comparison.

Also I'm a member of your Cotswold M Performance club, any discounts available?

Cheers

An 80mm sleeve clamp is the 'correct' way to fit one. Makes removing it for resale much easier.
The garage I went to didn't have the correct sleeve so were going to weld it. Seems a little strange they didn't have a sleeve as they're supposed to be custom exhaust specialists.?

Re: The M235i/M240i photo thread

They are great cars and not nearly so common /popular (whichever way you want to look at it) as the M135i/M140i.

I'm so glad I held out for the 2 series and once you sort out the bland rest diffuser for something more sporty they just look great.

Performance exhaust - M235i

I picked up a performance exhaust from EBay and before I go and get it fitted I wanted to check I have everything I need. Basically all I have is the backbox. No sleeve to connect it to the midpipe and no hanger. Question is so I need to buy anything (sleeve or hanger) or can I take it to an exhaust...

Re: Beading!

BSD is the best product I have used, wouldn't be without it.

Even if you don't get to wax or seal your paintwork after a detailing session then BSD is fine to use as a final stage and will last a couple of weeks, and only takes 10 mins to go round the whole car.
