If it's not the sensor it will be the reluctor ring the sensor runs on. Very common for them to corrode

Some teenage knob-end in a Corsa/Saxo/Fester - "Watch THIS ...." :twisted: ....Bang.... :( :bustedcop: My mate did this in his Punto.."watch this"..reved the tits off it, dropped the clutch. Forgot there was a 4 inch steel ground/gas vent tube about 2 foot in front of his car...bang..no more car..

I think I over paid for my LE (9k but only had 1 week to find a car) but worst case I will lose 3/4k over how ever long I own it. Mines on 90k and in terms of replacement parts outside of servicing and me tinkering its had one vanos solenoid and a brake servo. Now, I know its due a bit of suspension...

Hi,

As per the title, can anyone recommend a good place for a MOT in Leeds/Harrogate area?

My usual place is now miles away and a PITA to get booked in on a weekend.

The wings don't line up with the Bonnet, a very poor fit .. Don't go near it . Could just be the adjusters that need a turn..mine was the same when I got it They probably wouldn't leave the factory like it ?? No, but they can compress down a bit over time. Saying that the bumper does look a bit out...

You could take the trim off ect and see if somethings fouling the belt? but if it's an issue with the reel I wouldnt really mess about with it.

I've had the cables go before in this weather. Sourced replacement off ebay but it was a PITA to fit. Might be worth checking the window is still attached to the mechanism as it's only held on by a clip (iirc)
