Re: My headlight story

That looks nasty. Could have been a lot worse though I guess.

Re: My headlight story

Nice. Yep all visible now [emoji1303]

You've done a good job aligning the 4 projectors to each other, but you might be able to get the hotspot up a bit by shimming the bulbs. H1 bulbs are notoriously 'dodgy' for that, but I'm sure you're well aware [emoji41]

Re: Depo V2’s worth it?

They’re around the £250 mark new and can be fitted diy easily. Add another £50-ish for an hid kit and you still save almost £300 on that quote.

Thanks. Cheaper (and easier) to buy via the Cotswold group’s eBay store though 🤪🤷🏻‍♂️

Please can you provide a price for a replacement indicator to fit the wing mirror of my ‘64 (pre-LCI) F20? I believe it’s part no 63137280772 but the reg is HX64 SZR if you could confirm.

Thanks!

The brow only lights up on the xenon versions, the halogens are just a dummy brow.
Not all OEM Xenons with the brow are light up.
But none of the halogens do.

Re: Modifying headlights with DTM rings

‘LCI’ Headlights (with the brow) are p’n’p in all E8X cars. The brow only lights up on the xenon versions, the halogens are just a dummy brow. You’ll face the same issues separating either version of the lights, this issue being the ‘permaseal’ that Valeo use to seal the lenses to the headlight asse...
