Re: 118i BHP?

I've got a 118i sport 170bhp with loads of extras and love it. Unfortunately I only do 6 miles a day and the fastest road is 40mph so always on ecom mode!! Can't remember the last time I went into sport mode

Re: Which Run Flat Tyres

I have Bridgestone Potenzas RE050A and never had an issue with them. I'm having 3 of them replaced with the same tyres tomorrow as they are now due to be changed. Had a read online and looked at the Bridgestone DriveGuards (which were slightly cheaper than the Potenzas) but depending on the website ...

Re: F20 rear boot opening stiff

Oh dear. Sounds like a trip to Mr B to get it looked at then. I assume that the longer I leave it (I believe I have caught it early) the quicker/easier it is for them to fix it.

Re: Might be a silly question but.....

Thanks for your feedback on this. So looking at the post link it looks like a significant gain on the 118i engine. Has anyone ever had a challenge back from BMW on the tuning changes made to their systems and then rejecting any parts or service intervals?

Might be a silly question but.....

What exactly does all these chip ECU things do for the car? Am I expecting to see a huge BHP boost and/or MPG improvement? I don't know anything about these things and would be great to have a sticky post to explain what they actually do or what options there are. I have an F20 118i petrol turbo and...

F20 audio upgrade options

Hi, Welcome to the forums. I have read your introduction and Leicester isn't too far from me. I am wondering what head unit upgrades one can have which will be compatible with the bluetooth, steering controls, centre console heads up display and usb/aux connections? I've always been a tad concerned ...

Look good on a white. Gonna look at these on my red model. Got black BMW wheels so should look really good.

Re: M135i Retrofit heated seats

First BMW I have bought and first car in 10 years which didn't have heated seats and I do miss them especially on very cold mornings. They aren't very nice on leather though, prefer heated in fabric (other car has them and they really help with back complaints as well!)

F20 rear boot opening stiff

Hi all, Sorry if this has been posted before (I did do a search but mainly got results relating to a catch snapping and people climbing through their rear seats!) I have a 2012 F20 model and noticed recently the rear boot opener catch (the BMW rear badge) isn't returning to it's flush state after op...

Re: 1 Series Lumbar Support Retro Fit

Just ordered mine and will fit soon and post results. My sport model has the electric side bolsters so glad I've seen someone else install the retro fit lumbar support without issues. Personally I find the electric side bolsters pointless. When I was at the BMW dealer recently I asked how many peopl...
