Re: M140i 19inch alloys ruin the ride?

No major difference on mine running 19’s 624M other than the fact the 18’s have winters on.
Obviously the winters are a f*ck load softer but the 19’s are not overly hard either with the weight of them being much less.

Re: How do you use your Mx35i/Mx40i? What's your mileage?

Mines at 43k I think and will stay there now as it’s for sale.
Not using it to get all the way up here - HM’s government can foot the bill instead!
I did put a fair few m’way miles on it before I said “enough” and plenty of a/b roads too.
Didn’t buy it to mother it!

Wibbles can definitely retrofit one for you. He'd probably call it easy, I wouldn't! :)
Or cheap......

Far better to save both the hassle and cost and get a car with it already an option.

All M135i's are N55 engines.

My "tone"?
There is no tone - merely pointing out your incorrect information thats all.
There is a large legal difference between towing and carrying which is where you fell down in the information you posted.

Re: F21 2017 118I Towbar advice

I was considering fitting a towbar for cycle carriage to my M235i and got involved in the convoluted issues around what is possible to fit vs what is certified to fit. Just worth checking your V5C to make sure that your spec' can legally have a towbar fitted. Because my car's V5C is blank for towin...

Re: Thinking of buying an M135i or M140i

They changed my box with a decision that didn't see them leaving the forecourt. Tech was outside as I pulled in and authorised it there and then! Keep an ear out for brake disk clicking too - getting more common now and only on the M-Sport brakes. Its due to corrosion between the disk and hub throwi...

Re: F21 2017 118I Towbar advice

Get the Westfalia detachable - make a small offset towards the rear in the electrics mounting bracket.
Thats it - don't forget the extra heatshield and two nuts from BMW though.
It does fit the M135i with the above.

The knob jockey in the white coupe R*10*** with his fog-lights I would apologise for sodding off up the mountain but you insisted on trying to read the postcode on my number plate all the way from the Heads of the Valley rd so I left you to another everyone else instead of stopping and showing you h...

Struggle to see why they have done this as the parts are the same as the 3 series yet the coding blocks it.

I'd be kicking Chris Knott(being any good) in the nuts.
