Re: Car vandalised in the public car park

Just read from the beginning, some people really seem to think they know everything don't they. That's quite a general statement you've thrown in there! Seems like a fair statement given the number of experts telling him the video was worthless and the police wouldn't take action. :) Hope the prick...

Re: Suspension humm&jarring

Having put over 10k on various types of Semi Slick and track focussed tyres I'd say it's likely to be the tyres.

Built for comfort they are not :)

I'd like to try an S1, not that I can afford one! Wonder what they're like with a Quaife installed.

Re: bit of an experiment this weekend, interesting outcome

That is why on a steady cruise, a 3 litre bmw with ZF and RWD outperforms a 1.6 Audi S1[emoji4] 2.0 :) Wow, I thought they were still 1.6 with a crappy 230hp. Same story as BMW, de-rated so as to fit into their increasingly narrow market segment. Same engine as the S3 as I understand, 300hp is a re...

Re: Keep 123d Coupe or New BMW

At the moment there are no indications that any punitive measures will be taken against diesel powered cars. If you don't want to enter into another finance agreement and really want to move to a petrol car, why not look at an E82 125i or E87 130i? They can be had for similar money to what you'd be ...

Re: Newbie BMW 123D M sport

There is a potential recall on the timing chain, worth checking both with the government recall site (https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall) and BMW directly to see if the car was affected.

How will you cope with 4000 less RPM to play with?? :|

Re: Star Wars - The Last Jedi - SOME SPOILERS

It's also a shame they've struggled with the humour as well. It was unbalanced and swung between Disney cartoon kid's humour to subtle situational humour which did make me laugh. The scene where Luke milks that creature...what the hell was that about? Completely pointless and irrelevant to the plot...

Interesting article on the headgasket issues.

The drivetrains overheat too. The rear diff doesn't like being used too much.

Re: Joe Achilles - CarAdvice - VW

However if I didn't I'd do what most people do and just not watch...? The UK these days is just full of jealous tossers that love to go out of thei...
