Re: The M235i/M240i photo thread

I'd hope not, picked up car brand new from the dealership on 1st November. Not that I'd be able to tell you what the difference is between pre and LCI headlights! Out of interest what makes you think they are the old lights? Look at the other photos in this thread, even the ones at the top of this ...

Re: The M235i/M240i photo thread

Picked up this beauty last week, however only just got around to M Performance parts getting fitted so wanted to wait until I had the finished article to post. To say overwhelmed would be an understatement. What a car, and what an engine! https://i.imgur.com/A6B2V8s.jpg Is it me or does your LCI ha...

Intermediate pipe for chrome tips installation

Hi all Could anybody who has experience installing the M Performance chrome tips on a stock exhaust be so kind as to tell me the dimensions of BMWs so called "intermediate pipes" that enables the M Performance chrome tips to be installed properly (so that it sticks out a bit)? I really do not want t...

Re: Good London based indie BMW bodywork repair place

The quote I have is £250 to get it sorted including respray of the whole side panel and arch/pillar. It seems to be a big job for a dent in such a small area. Although the garage that quoted me is good, I am worried that it will not look as new once resprayed i.e. the orange peel effect we all know...

Good London based indie BMW bodywork repair place

Hi all I thought I’d open a thread to get London based babybmw members’ opinion on a good independent bmw body work repair shop north of the Thames (the closer to the east London the better)? So far I’ve got a really good quote to repair the below but would like to look for a second opinion Perhaps ...

Re: Unacceptable from dealer?

I have a similar mark on my door, couldnt figure out how id done it as im super careful when entering or leaving my car. Looking at this makes me believe it was the dealer. Too late to say anything now but ill be making sure to thoroughly inspect my car before it goes to the dealer for any work again.

Re: Auto box - coming to a smooth stop?

This is interesting because I also noticed this "issue" only after I'd driven around in a brand new 335d loaner for a few days while BMW were servicing my car. The 335d stopped flawlessly and completely smooth. When I got my car back I became a bit paranoid thinking BMW had tampered with my brakes b...

Looking at the picture and comment 60moh into 10mph I was expecting a lot more damage to bodywork etc. Not saying there isn't damage underneath
Looks like a tiny tent and a scratch
