Didn't break my new clutch in!!!

Got an e87 118d, DMF went at about 82k miles. Seeing as I was having it replaced I thought I'd have a new clutch put in as well and got it don't at BMW the other day. But nobody told me I was supposed to take it easy and "break in" the clutch for about 500 miles and I've never had a new clutch befor...

Which Connects2 kit to buy?

Am facelifting the dash on my e87 to the LCi dash and fitting a double din stereo. I know I have to get the fascia with the right air conditioning controls but both these fascia's have that but are different somehow and I'm not sure which one to get? http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CT...

Horn suddenly quieter and higher pitched?

Was sounding my horn the other day and all of a sudden it changed from its normal loud lower pitched sound to a weaker quieter higher pitched sound, and has stayed that way ever since.

Don't think other drivers can even hear it now, has the horn just worn out/broken like tyres or brake pads do?

BMW retrofit xenon angel eye headlights will cost you £800 upwards. Not even worth the hassle. Buy some Depos or custom lights like the ones I've made.
Got a thread of the ones you've made so I could have a look?

Don't think I'm Gonna bother. Lol.
If you just want one that looks better, instead of a shark fin go for a stub aerial, thats what I've got on my e87 they look much nicer and the reception is still great for me. http://imgur.com/s6L8TbX http://imgur.com/cLut5At

Retrofit angel eyes to Pre-Lci e87?

So I have a 2006 118d with the standard halogen headlights as follows. http://imgur.com/i2RuIi1 Firstly, I don't like the yellowish tint of the bulbs so was thinking of replacing the standard halogen bulbs with these https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Car-Lights-Bulbs-Indicators/Osram-62210CBH-Cool-Hyper-Pl...

You will need the whole lower dash. Glove box, under steering wheel trim and the trim around the radio
Any idea on where to get these from/part numbers? (I'm a complete beginner when it comes to this stuff)

Re: 118d e87 double din stereo install - PLEASE HELP

Ahhh I see, I knew the LCI facelift existed but I didn't realise that it was the facelift that changed the size of the dash I thought it just depended what optional extras were originally purchased with the car. Is it possible to install the facelift dash to a pre-facelift car so a double din stere...

Re: 118d e87 double din stereo install - PLEASE HELP

What year is your car? Pre-LCI cars (around 2007 and prior) can't take a Double DIN because the lower dash is not big enough. You need to facelift the lower dash and then install a Double DIN. Going by your pictures, you have a Pre-LCI 1 Series. Ahhh I see, I knew the LCI facelift existed but I did...

118d e87 double din stereo install - PLEASE HELP

Basically I took my 06 118d e87 5 door to my local audio shop (as I have no clue what I'm doing) to get a double din stereo fitted. They phoned me back later on the day saying that they can't do it because my BMW has the wrong size dash to put in the head unit and that they couldn't do it?? Here is ...
