Re: New M140i Shadow with MPE - Too Quiet

I found the MPE didn’t really change the volume, just the tone, making it deeper. Mid pipe makes a big difference to volume, I’d say it’s 3-4 times louder than stock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 400% increase in volume! I think your ears will be bleeding after fitting that ;) Sent from my LG...

Re: The F20 Alloy Wheel Thread

Thanks for posting Nugs... Been thinking about possibility of AD08R (or MPSC2) for my summer wheels and getting 225's for the front so pleased to know that they fit without any rubbing issues as mine will have 3mm more clearance to the arch than your wheels. What are your thoughts on the AD08R so fa...

I don't think so, you can notice a definite change in sound at 4k revs. I'm not that clued up though, it's just what i've noticed :)
Thanks for that info.. Thats' an interesting observation on the BCS :)

Re: BCS, REMUS , MPE

I love my BCS cat back. The advantages of the valve are that the exhaust can be much quieter depending on how you drive it. As soon as you hit around 4-5 thousand revs the exhaust opens up and sounds incredible. My understanding of the BCS is its boost controlled via throttle position than revs. Do...

I have H&R M235i -15mm springs on my M140i so would think the even lower -25mm should fit also

Re: Nardo Grey M140

The problem with wrapping is that it scratches very easily and it's not long before you can see swirls on the wrap which doesn't look great once it happens.

Re: OBD mandatory for JB4?

If I recall you can only use map1 if you do not connect up the odb2 cable on the N55

They did make a firmware change for B58 JB4 where you can use the standard maps 1,2 & 3 if I recall but not sure if tgis was done for the F55 M135 JB4

Re: Wheel fitment advice

Great thread that mate, just been having a little read through it. The car looks great! Just a quick question when you mentioned 'I have put the 245/35/18 onto the front 18x8 ET35 (with 10mm spacer)' This then cause a bit of rub when you had a bump mid corner so you reduced spacers to 5mm and you w...

Re: Wheel fitment advice

As Marco mentioned.. No problems at all.. However, you may find problems finding wheels in that specification without great expense :( Sent from my LG-H870DS using Tapatalk It does look spot on. If you don’t mind me asking what front rim and tyres were you running with these rears? Sent from my iPh...

This is 9" at ET50, so you'd have an extra 11mm more wheel poke on top: https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3887/14320917539_d379bc722a_o.jpg (photo courstey of sootyvrs) Surprises me how you find these old pics lol If anyone is interested they were fitted with Michelin SS 265/35/18 tyres on the rear Se...

Sorry if anyone may have been hanging around for this.. 1. f...

Re: Remus cat back vs back box

Does anyone have experience with the Remus resonated mid pipe rather than the racing one without resonator? Does that make a meaningful difference compared to the stock midpipe? Although I've not heard it myself but spoke to the guys at CLP and they told me the unresonated Remus cat back is very lo...
