Re: Holes in the radiator

Is this possible to do without removing the bumper?

I’m keen on doing this but slightly daunted by dissembling the bumper.

Re: Oil...

Cheers guys, I've just been quoted £305 for my oil and filter change, and giving that the 0W30 LL oil is on offer at my local asda, I'm considering saving some pennies and providing it myself. I take it castrol edge stuff is okay? Which oil specifically is on offer? Is it this one Castrol Edge Tita...

Re: Drivers assistant pack

Two things I didn’t option on my M2 Comfort Access to avoid easier theft Driver assistant so I don’t get the annoying bleeps/vibrations if changing lanes without indicating. The system also primes the brakes if you drive closely behind other cars. Good for some but not if you drive in a sporty/spir...

Re: Focus RS: Competition for M2 and RS3???

Thought I'd share my 2 cents here. My father bough an RS late 2016. Overall the car has been reliable for him bar some seals going on the gearbox which resulted in an oil leak. The biggest problem of his ownership has been the poor reliability across the model; predominantly the well publicised engi...

Re: My Baby BMW’s...

Enjoyed reading your review of each car. Would love to go for a ride in an M2 some time.

Have to ask though, why do you change so often? Isn't every change quite a hit financially?

Re: Any other watch fans on here? - part 2

Hi guys, My other half would like to buy me a nice watch for my 30th. Budget of around 3/4k and quite like the look of an omega seamaster. Don’t really know anything about watches. Can anyone recommend any good retailers? Would it be wise to buy second hand or brand new? Any other tips anyone could ...

Re: Screen wash. I know....

I've always just used water with a drop of washing up liquid. Bad idea. You'll get algae growing in the tank, which will eventually clog your washer nozzles and filters. It also means that when this happens, BMW won't fix it under warranty for you, which they will do if you use the official BMW stu...

Re: Buying a used M135i

I was in the same boat as you. In the end i stretched my budget slightly more than i planned. 19.5k for 2014, 24k miles car with almost every option going. i got this direct from BMW Park Lane, so years warranty and break down included. I think if i wanted to save myself 2/3k i would buy from a memb...

Who are all these racing drivers driving flat out on public roads?

Not stable past 8/10ths? What a nonsense.

Re: Speed Camera Flash

So the dual carriageway was a 30! Was this one of those cases of a 'restricted road' - this happens a lot apparently. If you're in an 'urban' area with street lights, they don't need to signpost the speed limit as it defaults to 30, but people automatically expect a dual carriageway to be higher (I...

Re: Speed Camera Flash

Quick bit of advice.... get the Waze app and have it open constantly when driving. You don't have to put a route in to where you are going, just have it open. It will alert you to the speed limits, some fixed cameras / popular police mobile camera spots / average cameras etc. It won't ever be 100% ...
