Re: Making power in a 120D

I'll look into that. Removing weight is difficult when you care about the car, yeah :D. never removed "a bit of stuff" whenever i try to, i end up thinking "oh, that can go too" and suddenly i don't have door panels or a dash. is it worth going with inserts over full bushings? i know it's a pain to ...

Re: Making power in a 120D

Cheers Marco! I already have some sticky rubber for summer, and i'm unsure about what suspension mods to go for outside of M3 LCAs that are worth it, coilovers ren't worth it in my opinion, unless they're setup for the track, and i use it a fair bit so that might not be ideal. what would you recomen...

Making power in a 120D

Heya there guys I've recently been considering selling my120D and buting an integra or something like that but i've decided to look at the options. I want more power, preferably somewhere in the mid 200s, car will be a street car, not for the track, just some fun mountain roads every once in a while...

Re: BMW 120d Intercooler

i've eyed that one up but dropping £450 on an intercooler before i have control arms or idrive in seems a bit wasteful. do you know how much hasstle the 123d intercooler would be? i have a garage with most of the bibs and bobs to work in. Are there any users who have gone down this route and seen an...

BMW 120d Intercooler

Hello there, So after a slight whoops along a wet road that went icy, i had a minor crash, damage seems to be minor, with me looisng a bit of the bottom plastic and bending my intercooler. My question is, is it worth it to upgrade my intercooler now that it needs to be replaced anyway, and are there...

Re: One Series MPG

I get 40 mpg combined driving, probably a bit less than that traffic. Mine is a manual though, I thrash it every once in a while but I'm unsure how right footed you can be in the city. I'd expect anywhere from high 20s to high 30s depending on how intense traffic is Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapat...

Re: E87 iDrive retrofit

I've done some research into this, and it's an expensive undertaking for not a great deal of improvement. If you want the plug and play option, go with bimmer retrofit.com. if not. Do research and get on eBay

Re: Wheel fitment E82

Msports are popular as far as i know, but student budget wouldn't allow me there for a daily. I'd usually always go for a square if i wasn't putting down enough power to spin them though gears. do you know id the lower tier cars also came with squared wheels as SE and staggered with m-sport, wouldn'...
