Re: Wipers won't turn off

Just restore from backup and that should fix the issue. Don't take it to the dealership with the coding still applied!

Older cars need the WiFi adapter for CarPlay. iDrive 6 cars have the adapter as standard now.
Can the wifi module be retrofitted?
I believe so.

Re: Best liquid car wax?

The best product I've used in years is Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish. It's an aerosol spray 'wax' rather than a liquid but is increibly easy to apply, no buffing is required and it can last 12 months/100 washes! It's genuinely brilliant, and I've used just about every product you can think of! It's...

Re: M140, just had the back box replaced.

OP http://www.realoem.com/bmw/images/thumb_9wna.jpg If BMW have just swapped rear box then they will have cut you one piece exhaust [from DP to rear bumper] to remove old back box and created a 2 piece system with new rear box attached with a 2 bolt clamp as shown above. The chances are the clamp c...

Re: BMW 118i Reviews

My sister has a 118i M Sport Shadow Edition.

She loves it. I just coded the sport auto transmission for her and she says it's even better now!

Re: Latest Compound EBC Yellowstuff

Looks like the Yellowstuff will be good for me then. The car is not used on track but does get used on the country roads around my house.

I can get the M4 pads (non sport ones) for less than the Yellowstuff. How would they compare? Are the yellowstuff pads worth the extra over them?

Why anyone would want EBC when DS2500’s can be had for the same price? Ferodo are a far better pad imo.
Same price? How much?

I can get the Yellowstuff pads for £260 (front and rear)

Latest Compound EBC Yellowstuff

Has anyone used the latest compound EBC Yellowstuff pads?

I'm hearing good things about them compared to the older compounds they used.

Would be good to know who is using them and what they are like.

Re: M4 pads on track

It's the M4 Sport pads that you want for on track, not the standard M4 pads.

I believe the sport pads are the same as the RSL29 pads.

I’ve used both 600 and SRF. 600 is very good for the price compared with SRF.

Both perform well and give zero fade on track.
How long should each last before needing changed (for road use)?

If it’s primarily for road use, go with 600. It has better wet boil performance than 660. Should last 2 years ok.

Both good, 660 needs replacing more often.
