Collecting new car

It’s been a while so can you give me a suggestion of what to look out for/check for when collecting my new car?

Cheers.

Re: Buying new - the process - what do I need to know

Also when should I expect to get the details to allow me to track the order? Like I always see people on here saying they can see there car is at sea or in this place or that place etc.. Hi Most of your other questions have been answered. I had the same query as you for tracking the order. You’ll n...

Re: TPMS - anyone bought some recently?

Hello all

I’m in the same position, and found these on amazon. Do these have the same bmW part number (also available as a pack of 4)?

I’ll check eBay now....

Re: BMW 225i x-drive Active tourer

Hi Paul, Whilst I can't comment specifically on the 225i x-drive, we picked up a 220i MSport second hand just before Xmas and have been pretty happy with it since. Is just about to run out of warranty but low miles (around 10k), and has been pretty good with fitting in family of 4 and dog crate in ...

Re: BMW 225i x-drive Active tourer

Hi Paul Initial thought being check a variety of differing websites such as https://www.germancarforum.com/f/bmw-2-series.99/, ignore the anti-brigade because they're not paying for the car and also have a look at the main BMW Technical Site, since changing in November I've removed quite a few of t...

BMW 225i x-drive Active tourer

Hello all I’ve been looking at one of these cars today, and although my wife and I like it, I’m struggling to find much info on this car. Is this because it was not a big seller? Do any of you know of any issues with the engine or indeed the car in general that I should be aware of? Any advice great...

Re: Halfords Washer fluid

It’s simply down to personal choice...Halfords own brand will be fine. I have used it for several years on all my cars I’ve had with no issues. Just make sure you use the correct concentration for the likely ambient temperature I completely disagree. Lots of people don't have a problem mixing diffe...

Re: Halfords Washer fluid

It’s simply down to personal choice. I do not believe that bmw spent millions on r&d on screenwash. It is mass produced by some supplier that no doubt supplies other brands. As has been stated before Halfords own brand will be fine. I have used it for several years on all my cars I’ve had with no is...
