Re: Lowering springs

I think the Motech drop is what I will go for at some point despite always maintaining I wouldn't lower another car. Mike at Motech assured me nil issues with rubbing etc when using spacers but I'm on standard alloys.

Re: JB+ v Bluespark

I've had JB+ on my previous manual and then my latest auto and I really can't imagine why anyone would need anymore power, scares me bloody witless ! On the manual I never noticed as much I guess because you have more control but in auto and sport mode its really, really fast. Agree with comments ab...

Re: Limited Slip Diff - thoughts?

I think I am going to have to scratch this itch at some point, I'd go Quaife too unless I could secure a huge discount with BMW :)

Re: I gone and done it again!

I've moved to washing just once per month as my car is lack and I want to preserve the paint, I go the whole hog etc and snow foam etc, however I clean the wheels weekly and car manages to look pretty good. I found if I wash it weekly I don't want to drive it and get it dirty !

Re: Roof bars and box

I've also used roof boxes extensively and find anymore than 85 and the wind noise is awful, they are extremely practical but I'd rather squeeze stuff in than take them on the autobahn :)

Re: Cheapest Sports Cat for M140i

Milltek recommend the 300 cell sports cat, apparently makes the car very nascar sounding, I keep meaning to get one fitted but lack motivation in winter plus the cat back system sound bloody amazing anyway so perhaps I was right (for once) to do this in stages :) I'd love to hear one in the metal as...

Re: £600 to fit springs and spacers.. sound about right?

Does anyone who has opted to lower had any issues with arch rub etc or difficulty negotiating speed humps etc ? This is what stops me doing the Motech look , it's rare but on occasion I have 2 aults, 2 kids plus a roof box if going on hols and if in Cornwall etc wouldn't want to worry about groundin...

Re: What’s the exhaust of the moment for M140i

I was one day away from a Akro myself but by the time a quote came through I'd committed to the Milltek.

Charlie Open (ex Milltek) now heads up UK distribution and from what I hear you will not be disappointed :)
