Re: Milltek Exhaust 123D

It has deeper bassier noise, alters the sound as opposed to just the volume...If you’re after performance there will be an increase and if you add sports cat there will be more. Though I don’t think the stock systems are restrictive...

Re: E81/E87/E87LCI Rear M Sport Bumper

Would be interested, does it fit pre LCI E87 as I believe the rear bumpers are the same?

Software only remap making increases such 50 percent plus is too much. You need to start upgrading the car to handle the extra stress you’re loading

That’s a good gain. I would wonder what in the car cannot handle more torque/power...

Re: Trackday pads

Hi,

Believe the 130i and 120d share the same front calipers. You won't go far wrong with the Pagid RS42, ATE Typ200 and some Goodridge hoses. The pads are good when cold so getting to the track won't be a squeaky bum time...

Re: Potential huge u-turn to e82!

I've been going back and forth with a guy who's got one on Autotrader, 59 plate with a very good spec and 40k on the clock but he's unwilling to go below £9.5k which I think is too much at the moment, especially now you'd told me that you paid less than £9k for yours!!! Just had a look at that one,...

Re: Crunch Time Should I Stay or Should I Go Now....

Ok so now I have owned my BMW 1 Series Convertible 120i Sport M for about 6 months. In the first few months it spent a lot of time off the road with the engine warning light always seeming to be on. I had the timing chain replaced under warranty and subsequently an oxygen sensor. The car still runs...

You could get a set of M Performance (blue) or the BMW Performance (golden yellow) brakes for the fronts. The blue 4 potters are meant to be better...

Re: 235 as opposed to 245 for more oversteer...

I have 255s on the back with 300 lb-ft of torque going through them and no spin in the dry. Have a bit more to hoon around now that I'm back in the UK. My initial impression is the 255 is very grippy but does not make the car understeery. I need to get a handle on it in the wet and chuck it about ab...

Re: 123d m sport damper recommendations

If you had the one done already that’s fine, I would just do the other 3 and also change the bumpstops (60)...Don’t see the point of changing the damper with 10k miles in that should be fine...

Re: Eibach Pro-kit M-sport vs Non M-sport

Hi, You want to check The Tyrants thread http://www.babybmw.net/viewtopic.php?t=80208 as he has tried out every single system out there. In synopsis the E87 is using the bumpstops as secondary progressive and rests on them. You can either user the BMW Performance suspension bumpstops or the SE bumps...
