Gti is a great all rounder. Needs a big discount though and mfgv figures are set very low.
Struggling to find anywhere willing to discount a new GTi by much..

Re: Time for a new car...

To be honest I had a gti as a hire car in Germany a few weeks back and really enjoyed it. The R has some great lease deals but the insurance is just a bit ridiculous 😂 I’ll only be driving around 8k miles a year so a petrol car is a preference. I’m open to ideas to be honest. Might even look at used...

Re: Time for a new car...

Hello Mr Ash, what else is on your shortlist? :) Not sure I just need a car for January. Initially got taken in by 0% offers for 420i but they went. Considering :- X1 Tiguan Golf GTi Looked at the M240 too but the insurance is a biatch as I’m coming out of a company car scheme, but had a non fault ...

Time for a new car...

So having had the XF since March, I’ve a new job that doesn’t require high mileage, so no company car.

Does babybmw still have its tame car sales genius? I don’t recall his name, but I’m considering several options for a new car. Hoping to ditch diesel too :band:

Re: Anyone know this complete bell?

Legally obliged? Idiot. You not aware of the legal requirement to keep left unless overtaking then? You shouldn't even be on the road yourself. Three points and £100 fine if the bobbies pull you. Not on a dual carriageway with right turns on it... a three lane motorway, yes.. The police have seen t...

Re: Anyone know this complete bell?

Your cousin wants to watch that and look at his own driving. Not condoning the other driver but if he'd been in lane one where's he is legally obliged to be he probably wouldn't have been hit. You can't be serious... :? I hope they get caught, good she got the Reg. Very serious - how far had they a...

Top Gear - finally?

So the new series of Top Gear started on Sunday. I've searched but can't find any threads so thought I'd ping one up! Thoughts? Did most of you miss it as it appeared out of nowhere.. Without Evans, and a horrid script, it really worked. When the line up for the last series was announced it was good...

Re: 2 Series Active Tourer Collected

I had a 2 series AT as a courtesy car. I have to say it won me over. Nimble, nippy, handles very well. I liked it and hate myself for saying that.

Re: New Car Ordered... bit sooner than I thought! *ITS HERE*

Soooo... after 2.5 years I've ordered my new car to replace my 5 series. So after 2.5 years of 5 series ownership, what are my thoughts? The car is still like new. Inside and out, despite having covered 94k miles from new in the 2.5 years I've had it. No major issues to report. The engine warning l...
