Re: loud static through sound system

Nope, not a known/common problem, just bounce it back to BMW. If you can take a video for evidence, all the better.

Re: Accident Damage question

Below the [Submit] box is Attachments. [Add files] - then find your picture on your pc. If it's too big, re-size it smaller using PS Paint or similar graphic software. As for your suspension, I wouldn't be unduly concerned. The top wishbones are relatively weak, made from split pressed steel. See 17...

This was literally the first Google hit: https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/oenumb ... 17884.html

Don't forget to have the new one coded/registered to the car.

They're a track day tyre really, good fun on dry roads & track, but a bit dodgy in the wet. Other downsides (...

Re: Anyone experienced this?

Buckled stock wheels are very common, being so soft.

As Creepy says, tends to be the inner unsupported edge of the barrel which comes off worst, but we've seen all sorts on here. :(

Stock tip is 60mm diameter, but the length/style of the exits (and pins to a lesser extent) makes finding aftermarket tips near impossible.
