If you loved your 118d so much, I'd seriously consider a 130i if you can get your hands on a well looked after one.

Re: Demisting windows

Totally agree with the above comments. I always used to believe that air conditioning was for warmer weather, but now I've been educated by this forum, I leave it running all year. It's much more effective at clearing interior misting than simply trying to blast that with the heater. Additionally Ad...

Re: 1st drive in the snow

Travelled to Blackburn yesterday and got caught in quite heavy snow. Heading back i had the speed dials on and had no more than 20bhp showing and the back end just lost all grip About 5 miles an hour but absolutely no stopping it just slid into the middle of a road, luckily nothing was coming. I'll...

Apologies OP - I've been quite well behaved over the past few years, but seem to have returned with a 'ranting' vengeance of late

Re: Potential M140 attempted theft today

I agree with much of what you say, and I'm definitely not anti-Police. However I do find it extremely frustrating that the Police do find the resource to pursue social media "crimes" (as in sat on their backside in a nice comfy office) but have no resource to respond to burglary, theft and petty cr...

Re: New Video - M135i 18 month ownership review/update

Nice, positive and honest review. When you trawl the forum and read of the many people who seem to grumble at every conceivable thing about the m-lite, it's quite refreshing to come across a review that almost does the opposite. I've had two 135i's and my present 140i now and have thoroughly enjoyed...

Re: Heated steerig wheel - issue?

Having read this post yesterday and with the decreasing temperatures where I live, I've been using my heated steering wheel of late. I have to agree with most of the above, in that although it is a nice little luxury, it does appear that the wheel seems to be hotter in some areas over others. I susp...

Re: Potential M140 attempted theft today

Every county is overrun with scum tbh. Some are simply worse than others. Age old rant, but the law is presently ineffective in prosecuting these issues, in that due to the reduction in police numbers that is currently being experienced throughout the UK, the police have almost certainly put car cri...

Re: M135i LCI knocking when turning steering wheel

Despite the hour, I've just been out and given mine a try. It does do exactly as yours, although I'm not sure it's as loud as yours appears to be. I hasten to add that I did it with the ignition off, as didn't want to disturb my neighbours, but will try again tomorrow with ignition on.

I'd hazard a guess that is fairly normal when stationary, although I haven't tried it on mine, so forgive me if I'm being my usual ignorant self.

Mineral Grey all day, everyday ..... even though I don't spend endless hours cleaning mine, it looks good even when dirty.
