Re: Fault codes

Not sure if you know mate but It’s now on top of the app and the OBD reader it’s also a yearly subscription for new Carly subscribers P...

Re: Fault codes

My warning lights cleared themselves after driving a short distance and a few engine on/off cycles, but the fault codes will stay logged on the ECU. Thanks YLS. Hopefully that means that I can have them cleared at a later date rather having to drive around with them annoying me until then. I replac...

I have lots of warning lights on my dashboard which basically points to abs sensors. My question is, if I replace both rear wheel speed sensors will the fault codes clear themselves or will I have to have them cleared. This is assuming that the new sensors fix the problem of course. If not I’m assum...

130i New battery - recoding ?

Well finally at 11 years old my car needs a new battery 😳 The original one is 70Ah and 570 CCA and is white,so therefore is not a AGM. I’m replacing it with a Bosch S5008 (096) which is 77Ah and 780 CCA. The car is a pre Lci and being a 130i is not stop/start. My question is will it need coding to t...

Re: Lets see your dark lines !

Fitted mine a few weeks back and upgraded to highs from lows and modded the led bulbs to light up. Set me back about £250 :) Hi Foordy I'm not sure if you are aware but it is possible to have your top and bottom tail lamps coded out to make the leds stand out more. The leds therefore become your re...

Re: Lets see your dark lines !

great setup and handy guide thanks! silly question but whats the difference between the high and lows apart from the £60 difference in price  The difference is that the highs have 4 led strips that can be wired to light up. The lows look very similar but have 3 strips that don't light up. This...

so for depos I can just swap out the bulb for led rings?
Not sure on that. Mine were a set of standard Oem halogens which I split and glued a set of led halos in. I took out the sidelamp bulb holder so the led halos are now my sidelights. I'll pop over to Tapatalk so I can post some photos.
