Sorry to say good bye

Post by Ian83w » Mon Mar 20, 2017 7:59 pm

Hi all as the title says the time has come to say bye to my baby bm and welcome a slightly bigger addition. Just had my salesman email me to say production complete. ImageWoohoo :D. So will be picking my new 440lci up soon hopefully once she arrives. (Does anyone know how long shipping takes from Germany). So any advice on what to look out for when I go to pick her up would be really appreciated. It's my first time I've bought a brand new car so a little unsure on what to check. My only other problem is I just wish this forum could make additions to home the slightly bigger brother as the other forums seem quite frankly not as friendly :) so hope you will not mind me popping a few of the new motor once she arrives :).

congrats on the purchase.

Only advice I'd have is to not let the excitement get the better of you on the day. Check the bodywork out carefully, and go through your spec sheet carefully too

Maybe take someone with you who isn't as excited as you, to look out for any issues that you might miss.

Just remembered, a place where cars sometimes get damaged is under the front lip when being put on transporter. Might be worth a look. Enjoy the day. :D
