I guess OP means he likes his brakes over servo'd and with a lack of progressive modulation. Personally I find my bimmer has one of the very best braking systems I've ever experienced in a road car.

Would be interesting to know how to get your ABS to kick in and the signs that it is working as it should.

Stand on your brake pedal (where it's safe to try a full e-stop), you'll feel it hammering away.

Check your discs and pads and have a fluid refresh bud, it's probably never been done or at least for a while. Most motorists outside the enthusiast circle don't change it as the book doesn't tell you to!

As for brakes being better on certain cars it's all subjective and without sounding too rude who really cares it doesn't warrant a tit for tat thread about which manufacturer has better brakes, as long as when you press them you stop safely which if everything is as it should be won't be a problem regardless of what marque your car is!

The brakes were better on my old Bentley GTC but that is irrelevant and the BMW brakes work fine.

If you're worried then get them checked at the garage or if you are able do it yourself, if it's a case of not liking them then sell the car or suck it up.

I never found the brakes on any of the three Bmw's I owned to be brilliant even after upgrading to Brembo discs and pads.

I've driven Cars with Neck snapping sharp Brakes, with just the slightest touch of the Pedal, it's not for me. I'd rather have progressive rather than it all ine go. Providing the Car can and will stop.

It would be terribly polite of you to make some effort to make sentences. Otherwise it's very difficult to understand, as we have to re-read and try to work out what you mean.

I don't mean to be harsh, but the grammar police are never far behind you :bustedcop:
The test above is not edited, just punctuated, but is just one way your post could be interpreted

People in response to your question, have asked you pertinent questions, some with useful suggestions.

These people have taken the time to try to help, but please correct me someone if I'm wrong, I don't think you've responded in kind?

What are your answers to these questions and suggetions please? You don't really have to justify your opinion again, but just re-read the tread and help others to help you :)

Now look, I've even annoyed myself typing this

Once again no response to the questions and no gratitude for the advice you awesome, informed and knowledgable guys have offered, just reasons for why he thinks bmw brakes are inferior to any other car he's driven without much of an explanation just an opinion. I'd leave him to it guys, clearly he's a calliper short of a braking system lol

Some people can't be helped. Some people can't punctuate.
Some people.........

I appreciate all the comments I'm just saying I find the brakes better on the golf than on the bmw but saying that I have never had a powerful bmw so maybe the more powerful bmws have much better brakes but still I would pick a bmw over vw any day even if I do find the brakes not as sharp
I think you have problems not only with stopping in a car, but also with your sentences! 😜
