With BMW moving away from rear wheel drive to either front or 4 wheel drive , I see long term values can only increase for a factory standard 1 series E82..
They will become as rare unmolested as a 3 door Cossie given time 👍

The 1M may well go the same way as an E30 M3. I wish I would have kept my E30 M3 Sport Evolution.

are we talking E82s or 1Ms or both ?

Agree that unmolested, low to average mileage 6 cylinder examples with good histories will become more desirable in the coming years - or am I just stating the obvious here

I think that as the 1M gets extortionate ,the next best thing is the E82 coupe.
There will be so few left intact in years to come that demand will be high.
Especially if it's a manual cos the days of manual gearboxes are sadly numbered due to tougher emission laws...
All in my own humble opinion of course , but I'm biased cos I own one ...

Andy, that white N55 has been advertised for (I reckon) at least 6 months...
Started at £18,995 then dropped to £18,495 now dropped again.
IMHO it’s still overpriced by at least a grand...

Having said that, it does seem that prices are holding up well (and can only improve as said above) :)

Agree with all comments - I noticed on how many left the 135i is dropping around 10 cars each year,
I also noticed they have split out the msport variant to the sport plus variant - apologies if this is old news !

It suggests that there are only 65 auto & 27 manual sport plus editions for the 135i,

It also says that the 135i has 10 SE versions on the road (I thought all 135i were msport)

Still not as rare as the 130i LE, which has a massive price tag for what little extra it has on non LE (imo)
