E82 135i low profile long reach jack

Post by Justchris17 » Mon Mar 12, 2018 9:37 pm

Tried searching but seems to be a lot of confusion and most I saw tend to jack one corner at a time..

The front central jacking point on these at the front is quite far back and I don't think a normal jack will reach which jack has people bought that reach this jacking point with no issues and don't cost a arm and a leg?

I just drive the car onto two wooden blocks to increase the clearance for the Jack. I have a Sealey Aluminium race Jack which fits under fine.

I got some 3 tonne caravan levelling ramps from Amazon and drive onto those then jack up. Nice and light and come in a little carry bag.

I have an sgs engineering low profile jack, cost about £100 delivered. Well made bit of kit but I still need to drive onto two blocks of wood to clear the msport bumper

I have one of those pads but they only work if your jacking point cover is in good condition, not chewed up or crushed by other jacks.
