Well it's official I am unlucky

Pick my car up from halfords after they've had it for 3 weeks and notice a scratch on my rear bumper.
Drove the car to bmw to get booked in for my recall and on the way I lost all power from the turbos and huge management light came up.
Managed to stop and turned it off thankfully only small management light came on and car had power again.

Before I picked the car up Halfords said the ticking noise was from a auxiliary belt that I paid them to replace and well it still ticks.

Also they said if my management light came back on then it would be a glow plug issue.

Well looks like I've got a poorly 123d again

Please someone tell me it will get better please

It won't magically heal itself. And a poorly-maintained N47 on 93,000 miles might be a write-off at any moment if the timing chain lets go.

I think you should follow Toed64's advice, keep challenging the vendor in writing about all the faults. Demand rectification, or even better for them to take the car back. If you decide to keep it, spend some money having it checked over by a reputable Indy.

Tired to get the vendor to help out and they've washed there hands of it now.
The car has full bmw service history to it too.

Think next step if for it to go to a bmw specialist and negotiate with warranty Company to get there hands in there pockets.

Lots of these issues sound like a really poor remap to me (especially the leaking injectors). There's no need to turn the fuel pressure up on these, it runs at something like 32,000 psi as standard.

I'd put everything back to factory settings, then start working out what's what. I really detest these N47's.

Gone 2012 E82 Space Grey 118D Sports Plus standard spec.

Glow plug or auxlary water pump do not light up any error. Do like marco say. Back to original map and start with good diagnose with mechanic that repair BMW or you will waste a lot of money and your car will be still broken:(

Car is back with Halfords again as it keeps going into limp mode after I picked it up from them.

I dose it when loading the car through the gears and comes on in 4th, odd thing is it didn't do it after the remap it's only just started after Halfords had there hands on it.

Also had a code read from a very good friend and it showed up glow plug fault as a active fault.

Once this is sorted its going back to the mapper to get rechecked

So here is the latest update and I swear this is not a joke or made up (some may find this funny)

Picked the car up on Friday and did 30 miles bang management light back on so back to Halfords and had them read the code and it's popped up with Egr low pressure, before I picked it up they had finally replaced the egr valve under warranty.

So left it with them again and asked them to fix it and only call me when it's fixed. Received a call today from there service manager and they removed the egr cooler to inspect for a blockage or damaged pipe and when they removed it a blanking plate almost the same size as the gasket fell out.
When they looked at the cooler a flap on it that's ment to move didn't and was sized solid.
The egr valve and cooler had been replaced by the shop(arther Stanley) where I got it from as it was faulty when I bought the car.

So it looks like this has been causing a problem from the word go, surely it should have put the management light on before?
Possibly not if the egr had been coded out and then when pk automotive started mapping it the activated the egr valve raising these issues.

So now I'm waiting on a egr cooler and gaskets then it back to the dyno once a test drive has been done and then let's keep our fingers crossed I'll have a propper car back

All I can say is thank you warranty and let's see what the seller has to say to explain this now
