Carpet Mats

Post by edition » Tue Oct 12, 2010 12:39 pm

Hi,

Just wondering whats the best method of keeping the car looking clean during the winter?

My interior is Beige so needs could do with them being beige! What do BMW offer? Beige rubber?

Also how much do BMW want to extract for some!

Thanks in Advance :)

I doubt they offer anything other than the standard black?

edit: scratch that. - beige is obviously a choice, at least for some models (though I am not entirely certain they are OEM?):

Link included to show they do exist, just possibly not for 1ers ;) http://www.amazon.com/BMW-Weather-Front ... B001J8U53O

I like Bavarian's selection of mats - this should be a link:

They have multiple colors and styles.

Cheers guys. BMW told me they don't do beige rubber ones :(

Annoying as the amazon link ones are exactly what I'm after!!

You might want to try WeatherTech. I think they have synthetic rubber mats that will fit in several colors.

Well, BMW actually does a LOT of different mats for the 1, but they're just not available in most places. Gotta go to Japan! Check out the Japanese Coupe and Sportback accessory catalogs here: http://www.bmw.co.jp/jp/ja/owners/acces ... tions.html (The convertible catalog has fewer.)

Hello,

So my son spilled a cup of soda on the back seat in my wife's 2010. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions for the best way to clean it without messing up the seat/fabric? I was thinking simple green, but not sure if it will stain the seat or not. I mean it is "stained" now, but I would like to clean it without paying a crapload. I am open to all.

Hello and welcome

I just thought - that thread is 7 years old! :)

If it's seriously stained, I'd hire one of these and buy some of the upholstery detergent too:

The results are often remarkable: you can deep clean a car's seats and carpets in an hour or so.

Would you consider £50 a crap load? I had light fabric interior in my old 1series and I had loads of unsightly water marks/stains on the seats from body cream to fizzy drinks.

Had it wet vacc’d and all of the stains have gone :)
