Hi,
Need to pick your collective brains about a 123d M Sport that im kind of interested in.

The car looks sound as far as I can tell from the pictures, but is running on 17" double spoke wheels with what looks like Eagle tyres?

Do BMW supply these combinations from the factory? I thought as it the M sport it should be 18" wheels on bridgestone runflats?

Oh and should it not have cruise control on the stalk as standard on the m sport?

What can I expect to find in my boot of my 2007 118d think is a E87

I currently have:

A pop up warning triangle
Locking wheel nut key
And a little pouch with a towing eye, screwdriver and a 10. mm spanner (what the hell is the screwdriver and spanner for)

Am i missing anything?

hi all
if you are going to buy a diesel ,make sure you have no swooshing or chuffing noises from back of engine ,hard to hear at first .
will be the timing chain issue thats more common than people think . if i found this forum first it would of saved me a lot of grief coming .

Sound advice for 2007 - 2011 cars. PreFL M47 engines don't suffer this.

Good list, thanks for the info. It would be useful if new users to the site could post wanted ads. very unlikely people without a 1 series will have made 20+ posts in order to submit a wanted ad. Thanks.

Due to pick my car up from the body repair shop tomorrow.

It's had a new rear bumper and rear quarter panel.

I would say main things are check it has 4 wheels that turn. A engine that starts up. Doors thats are connected properly. A exuast on the back some seats and a steering wheel then you know its been looked after.
