Wasn't today as such, but the first time I have had the time to come and log into babybmw!

My E88 had some "acid rain" that wouldn't come off with a normal snow foam wash, which the car wash guys quoted 200 for a full detail of paintwork.

I managed to source some Autoglym, and a lot of hours later gave the car a good polish over. Some pictures attached to see the before and after!

I wasn't going to use it today, but I got it out just to rescue others and perform snow clearing duties. 8)

New wheels !

Sort of thinking 19" would look nicer on the car than 18".

Well guys today my BMWP exh...

Grilles arrived today! So I’ll be fitting them at some point. Heard they’re a PITA to fit onto a 130i without shredding your hands but we’ll see eh.

Thank you Cotswolds for an easy transaction.

Wasn't today but on Wednesday I asked the chap who looks after the 1 Series for me to sort out a remap, so I could finally "uncork" the 125i. They've claimed 280 bhp (it's en ECU map rather than a RR), of which I am a little dubious, but finally got a chance to test it out today on the M6.

Much better :) zings up the redline like it should without feeling like something is holding it back, plus it is even smoother and fuel consumption is 2 - 3 mpg better. I'd consider that fairly successful :)

Would be no problem (fun even) if you had winter tyres fitted - don't miss out next time.

Wasn’t just hat was more the fact that I in the middle of the tire tracks the snow was too deep and was above my bumper
