Christ know how they got 300hp from a n52b30 when its NA.
Best we ever managed was 280hp, 20 more no danger.

Maybe the wing gives him more power

Indeed..

But what kind of debris is going to do this damage?
A wheel off a lorry or shredded tyre.

Something very sharp. Just goes to prove what a sturdy little motor the 1 er is :D

Never seen one a 1er in that color!

It's not an LCI though, must be one of the very last pre-FL

You're absolutely right. I just saw the year and assumed. The rear lights is the telltale it's a Pre LCI.

What's your opinion on the colour?

I don't dislike, I think I would have to see it in person to decide.

I think this could be a good buy for someone who must have the pre-FL steering given its an 07, former police cars are likely to have been used hard but maintained properly - although 4750 is a little high IMO.

All things considered I'd want to pay more like 4000-4250 for it

I can't believe yours hasn't sold yet. It seems like the perfect one for somebody who doesn't mind light seats and 3 door, even more so now that you've just had so much replaced!

Why do you want to sell if you can't decide on what you want next? This makes no sense to me.

I was selling it a while ago. I offered it to Paddyboy at the time as it was auto etc. but it wasn't right for him...I've since decided to keep it.

I'm just saying that if you see one that's close enough to what you want that you should splash the cash and snap it up, good examples will become harder to find.

I'm likely going to get another 130i as well but a manual for my Wife.
Something tells me CrystalKen you'll pop up on here again in a few months time just as previously with your car for sale still at £9k + you still not wanting to take a hit on the price Your missus wants a manual so that's what's pushing the sale

Sometimes *hit happens tho' + the price will have to drop - for a private sale yours is priced absolutely top dollar + for me its just too white I've never had a white car + don't intend to

But good luck with it  + I'm sure us 130i hunters will be watching with interest
I went through the exact same thing with CrystalKen in November, ha! He's probably best not mentioning his car 'might' be for sale until he's actually identified what he wants to replace it. :)

I also tried to buy the red auto on 48K 2 days after it was listed but they were unwilling to move on the price at all (I offered £8,500).

Hehe I know what you mean but then on the other hand I can understand why trying to decide if to part with your 130i + then what to replace it with would be such a tough one

Don't remember a red auto at 48k What have you ended up with? Hopefully you've got an auto sorted by now which makes 1 less auto hunter in the market

Collecting my old '56 plate manual (that I sold back to the guy I bought it off) next week...! I don't need an auto, just lazy.

It was more that I paid £11k for it in August 2015, hardly put any miles on it and had it up for sale in Aug / Sept 16 so wanted to stick to a £9k limit. I am / was in a quandary on what to replace it with but I would have found something.

If Birds would have offered me £500 more it would have been gone but when it got to me taking over a £2k hit it got to an 'actually, why bother?' stage.

Not a messer, just didn't get offered the price I wanted and not desperate to sell.

The coloured headlights would give me a migraine but it's a minor thing overall.
