I run an S2000 alongside my 135i and think they compliment each other perfectly. Only difference is the S2000 is my daily and the bmw my weekend car as I like to have a reliable daily

Bought 2.5 years ago, piled 18k miles on it including 9k in 3 Euro trips and it’s been brilliant. I am considering buying a newer lower mileage ones before prices get sillier. This is probably worth what I paid for it still.

How about a classic Hot Hatch?

Getting expensive now, especially 205s. I needed sunroof trims and they were rocking horse, £100 for good ones.

Just sold mine recently:

I'm just going through the process. Did my CBT in July, got my test in December, part 1 followed by part 2 a week later.

I've bought a 125 (Cagiva Mito) to ride in the meantime, they're great fun, even with not much power!

SNAP!

I've got a white 1.6GTi. Definitely not selling mine as it's been fully rebuilt and unless the arse falls out of the market i'd never get another one.

I also did my "big boys" motorbike license this year. Total pain in the balls to do with all the theory, hazard perception driving round cones sh*te. I'm not into plastic japanese crotch rockets which seems to be why most old gits start riding (and kill themselves). Mainly enjoying riding various old British bikes as getting to spend some time with my old man and his collection of bikes was the reason I did it.
