Can't decide on what factory or dealer options to go with?
Not sure what a specific option does?

Hi folks,

New member here so just looking for some info on the Adaptive suspension option on the M140i.

At the moment I own a 420d Gran Coupe which I have owned from new for 2 years. I've decided to get something which is a big more fun and has a good bit of power. I found my last 2 BMW,s with sport suspension you be a hard ride. So I'm guessing the m140i will be the same? I've test driven the car however I was more concerned about trying nit to smile too much and sell myself to the dealer. The car I did drive didn't have adaptive suspension.
Anyone have this and recommend it?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum
Good question and its been asked a few times already.
Standard shocks can be a little hard on long trips, personal preference of course but you have no option to soften the damping.
Adaptive on sport is harder or roughly the same as standard shocks, turn on comfort then you get a more dampened ride.
Highly recommend adaptive. Worth every penny.
