UBS not reading Iphone/USB stick

Post by Muaythaimatt95 » Sun Jan 15, 2017 10:32 pm

Evening all

Just for reference the car in question is a E82 M-Sport with Professional radio With B/tooth hands free and USB audio.

If I plug my phone (IPhone 6s) into the USB socket using a Y cable I get a message on the phone asking if I want to trust the device which I press yes. If I then select the USB option on the radio it just comes up with a message saying "please insert device". Same goes with the USB stick, it's formatted to FAT32 and all files are in mp3 format but still no joy...... "insert device".

Anyone come across this same problem and/or might have a solution?

Thanks in advance

Matt

I'm assuming not as the USB stick doesn't work either, the phone still charges just nothing when USB is selected.
