Edit.... it looks like this it's working correctly.... when i go above a certain speed the parking sensors turn off! I'm guessing this is some kind of safety feature? Not sure I like it.... I haven't seen this on the E9x?

The PDC screen usually shows after you put the car out of reverse. It will stay on for a little while, then disappear. This is normal in all BMWs.

Doesn't it disappear as soon as you reach 20 km/h (or so)?

Yeah.... is this normal then?

This doesn't happen in my e92, soon as you take it out of reverse the CIC returns to the screen (radio, menu etc...)

Cheers mate!

Any ideas why the service light will come & be over due? I had the battery disconnected for a couple of days?

Not all radios have the MOST socket.

It's not on the (e8*) business unit and not on some pro units.

On my retro fit, the MOST cable goes from the combox to the cic/pro-nav unit.

Mine to, but i did the full install and the combox isn't working. I checked if there is power on wire 1 and 14 and it has, the red light from the most also reaches the combox.

But when i check the settings in the cic to see if i have the bt, there is nothing and if i try to read the combox with ncs or tool32 it gives me an error

COAPI-2020: ECU does not answer IFH-0009: SG nicht angesschlossen oder meldet sich nicht CMEDIAR

And i don't know where the provlem is can it be because it is a combox telematic

If it's a combox telematics... then the power wire should be going to Pin 2 on the combox

These are the possibilities, so you'll need to rule each one out:

1. Is there power going to the combox - easy way to check, does the most lights come on when power plug connected?
2. Coding
3. MOST wires connected incorrectly
4. Incorrect combox you need a BN2000

You shouldn't need to you tool32 to get the combox working.... not sure why you would go straight to this when the CIC can't see the combox?

It's going to be a matter of ruling eachone out
