Finally tried on the rear bumper, looks ok! Needs pulling out at the bottoms to cover a bit more wheel but you can get the idea! ImageImageImage

It's looking great isn't it!

I get that the plate is 'Fixed' and is quite apt for this project :)
However, I see it as 'Fix ED' which makes you some kind of Dr snake charmer

That plate recess goes quite well with the gap in the diffusor 8)

Is it me or have you chopped this thread down a bit? Didn't you buy new e87-1m style rear quarters from a race shop? I wanted to see them again. Now this thread is hugely before/after! So easy to underestimate all the work involved! Tough to answer but a full widebody conversion- rough price you'd charge?

No that wasn't me, sounds like someone else has got a great project on the go! The rear arches on this are the existing quarters cut and flared. It has cost me about 3.5k with purchasing the panels, paint and coachwork. So that would be a good estimate for a start to finish widearch like this. I think the full project will end up costing somewhere in the region of 13-15k which hurts to say!

I would be really grateful if you could post some pictures of the inside rear lips. I tried to roll mine, but they are like box section inside- would need some serious cutting. How much width did you gain/what wheel offset/width/tyres did you squeeze in?

Will do- not been on here for a bit so didn't see this!

Got my exhaust hangers welded on today and attempted to adapt my exhaust to fit. Still needs to come in a bit further but it's starting to look like a car again! Image

It's coming together really well! Liking this :)

Is that a Clio plate recess you're grafted in?

I've been in and out of B&Q non-stop recently... Next time I'm there I really should stop by to see this in the flesh; it's coming along great!
