Is that a Clio plate recess you're grafted in?
To be honest I have no idea my friends brother works in a salvage yard and he chopped it out for me! I think I would rather not know if it's French

How does your insurance work on this? Would it just be classed as a 118d with modifications or do you have to go into the full details?

I literally have no idea! I'm insured on any car despite mods so it doesn't matter to me but god knows what would be the best way to do it privately!

It was a pain in the arse with mine trying to explain that alloy wheels shouldn't be considered a modification, explaining what you've done would probably send them into melt down.

You've done an incredible job though, looks brilliant.

First road test today, all performed as should! I even tidied up the engine bay a bit! Need a 1m strut brace now Image

Were they factory alloys or aftermarket? You'd insure this car under a modified policy through a specialist like Sky or Chris Knott for example, list out all of the modifications which they would then put on paper for you to confirm and sign. Simple as.
| E87 M Sport | 116i LCI (2.0) | Titanium Silver | Airlift 3P | Zito 935/Ispiri CSR4/Compomotive TS701 | Pioneer/Gladen/JL Audio | Custom Exhaust/Steering Wheel | Much, much more |
