Good to hear that you are nearing the end with the mapping side of things, after all the up's and down's.

Thanks for the support. Well its not over yet, until I see the dyno and drive the car who knows what will happen, however, I have to say I have a lot of faith in Andy from the chats we have had. He seems to be a true enthusiast and is doing the job for the love of cars and learning more, not necessarily to make bags of cash, as I said before he also seems to know his stuff and have some great contacts. I have also said if he can overcome the software issues he might as well increase the boost to 9psi or so and put a larger intercooler on :).

Not as yet, bought an old W reg Vauxhall Vectra estate to get around in the mean time. Quite enjoying having a car I really don't care about! The handling is atrocious though!

I also have a BMWP front bumper, BMWP side skirts and Perl carbon splitter to fit once its back. Plan to modify the bumper scoops/vents for the brake ducts and a cold air intake feed.

Any updates on the supercharger map? Is it running well now?

Ha not much to report, although the Vectra has had its first mod...the rear seat belt points were corroded so to pass the MOT I have ripped out all the rear seats and it is now essentially a Vectra van :). I can confirm that this mod does not improve the 0 to 60 time with a 1.8l 16v engine :)

I ought to upload some photos, its looking pretty cool. I've replaced the intercooler (with Forge item) and all the IC ducting with aluminium hardpipe. Changed the pre CAT O2 sensor locations in the exhaust manifold to OEM location. The intake manifold and all cold side pipes are covered in gold heat reflective tape. I am in the middle of fitting a Turbosmart BOV controller. Following that I need to wire in an N55 MAP sensor and fit the larger injectors and new spark plugs. Then it is time for mapping :). I've paid for a BPC (Bimmer Performance Centre) map which will be an Alpha N tune remotely done from the US.

Some photos of some alternative wheels I bought early last summer, a set of 18" Advans :). I think that these have been in the forum since new. A little dark for my tastes so one day may get refurbed in a lighter anthracite or dark chrome. Very very nice wheels though, super light and look super aggressive on the 1er.
